Video Work

"Benson!!"(2024) is an independent animated short film. It tells the story of 10 year-Old-Kaylie and her coming-of-age journey as she discovers what it means to be emotionally intelligent.

I served as the director and producer for this project for more then two years. Leading a team of students and recent graduates to tell this compelling story. Packed full of good morals and education value, that any parent or child can appreciate.

The film taught me a great deal about production management and went onto receive positive reception from Parents and Teachers alike.

Co-Producer

"Piracy is no Party" (2023) is a student film produced by Nerve TV, at Bournemouth University. The film follows Caleb and his terrifying misadventure when he purchases a never before seen video game at a Carboot sale.

As the Co-Producer it was my responsibility to manage the budget and schedule for the project. I also organised logistics, maintained health and safety on set and delegated supervisory responsibilities to my production manager Joyce.

The film taught me a lot about producing and went onto win several awards at

the National Student Television Awards.

Consulting Producer/Actor

'Wear what you are' (2022) is a short film I worked on with Denali Productions.

The film follows Kemp- who I portrayed; and their coming-of-age journey, as they make the discovery they are non-binary. Kemp faces a range of discrimination and disrespect as an LGBTQ+ member. A lot of which has echoed my own experiences as a non-binary person growing up in a small town.

The film serves to remind the world that self-love is the best love, and although we still have

a way to go, the right people will accept you.

And if we all work together, we can truly make the world a happier and safer place, for the

wider LGBTQ+  community and their allies

alike.

Production Manager

'Threading through Community' (2021), is
a multi-media documentary which documents the community engagement project
of the same name, led by Japanese
textile artist Seiko Kinoshita.

The project encourages children and families to get creative, through crafting their own lanterns, which served to symbolize the sense of community Derbyshire entrepreneur, Jediah Strutt, brought to the world during the Industrial Revolution, which helped to shape 1000s of lives.

I served as the Production Manager, leading all
the planning and production elements of the documentary. I Supervised a small team, and worked closely with my client and project manager Kinoshita-San.
