Completion of my first independent film

It's been two months since our incredible team official wrapped on our Animated Children's film: #BensonShortFilm and we're so thankful for all the support its received. "Benson!!" was my longest standing project, with early concept work beginning in December of 2021, running all the way until October of 2024; with the bulk of its production being carried out during 2023. Working as the Producer and Director of this short animated film was an experience I'll never forget! Originally created as a student film between myself and three of my friends. we soon noticed interest and potential had begun to spark, so we didn't hesitate to take a leap and aim that little bit higher; choosing to expand our team and ambitions for the project. By the end of the project, I had been privileged enough to work with 30 different team members, including students, recent graduates and emerging professionals alike. I'm so grateful for all the support and hard work of our team, we couldn't have finished the film without them!

"Benson!!" went on to reach 100 Youtube views with in a week of its release, despite it's brief marketing campaign and it continues to grow today. We've since heard incredible stories from teachers and parents, who felt our message was important for their young people to hear. I'm so pleased our lovable characters and their educational journey has been so well-received. "Benson!!" will soon finish it's run in the film festival circuit and be released to Amazon prime in the coming weeks. I loved working on this project, and I'm so excited to create the next one!
